Chapter 1 Page 1: In a flashback of a sunny spring day, the page shows a small anthropomorphic red fox resting on the branch of an oak tree. (His name is Maxie by the way) Sporting freckles, a plump belly, a gray tips on his ears. He hears a cracking sound and a bush rustling which catches his attention. Out of curiosity he climbs down the trees and heads toward the bush on all fours.
